Introducing the luxurious new range of baby garments - Pure Cotton Kids

Hot on the heels of the success of the Go Go Bag™, mother of three Amie Nilsson is launching a new range of baby essentials called Pure Cotton Kids. The luxurious range of baby garments are made from the softest hypo-allergenic cotton and are available for newborns to two year olds. The range uses the same attention to detail and premium materials that have made the Merino Kids Go Go Bag an essential item for thousands of kiwi babies and children.

Three years ago, new mother Amie Nilsson was exhausted from getting up to her daughter Lily (10 weeks) in the night as she kicked off her blankets and woke up cold. "I was up and down to her three or four times a night and I was shattered. So I tried putting Lily in a baby sleeping bag, she got a terrible heat rash all over her body, because of the polyesters in the bag."

"So I designed the very first Go Go Bag™. I knew exactly what I wanted: a 100% natural sleeping bag that was practical, durable, compact and machine washable. At the same time it also had to be really soft and regulate Lily's temperature throughout the night. Suddenly Lily was able to settle herself back to sleep when she woke in the night becasue she wasn't cold or tangled in her blankets. It was amazing." she says.

Amie successfully runs her business from home sending her sleeping bags all around the world, all of this while juggling a busy family of three (Lily, 3 years, George, 2yrs, and Scarlett, 8 weeks).

We really pride ourselves on knowing what makes babies sleep. I designed the Pure Cotton Kids range while pregnant with my third child, Scarlett, so I designed it to be luxurious, soft but also practical.

Merino Kids™
Merino Kids children's wear is made from the same superfine, bleach free merino wool that is used in the Go Go Bag™.

Merino's unique qualities mean in hot conditions the merino removes heat and moisture away from the baby's body and in cool conditions, between 4am and 6am it insulates, keeping the baby snug and warm. The bags have all passe rigorous fire and safety tests and are all labelled low fire risk.
